Here we have some questions concerning natural interpreting. Basing on the gathered data, we shall try to establish, what the role of a natural interpreter among students is. This questionnaire is part of an academic project and is totally anonymous. We thank you in advance for your answers!
A natural interpreter is a person, who (thanks to his multilingualism) has an innate possibility of linguistic mediation. The need for such mediations (which are completely free of charge) comes generally in urgent situations that require immediate intervention. It is tied to the events of everyday life (like visiting the doctor or in administrative situations). First of all, the interpreter has to make the communication possible.
